Credit Card

The preferred method of payment is by credit card. The major credit cards accepted are American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. If the customer pays with a credit card, then he doesn't have to worry about the currency exchange. That would be handled by the bank that issued the credit card, so long as the card is acceptable for international use. The customer may need to verify that his credit card can be used for int'l purchases.

Prepayments are also accepted. They must cover an estimate of 2 months usage and should be sent via wire transfer in US currency. It is the client's responsibility to make sure he maintains a credit balance in his account, so that the service is not interrupted.

Cash deposits are accepted in lieu of a credit card. The minimum cash deposit is $250 per APN (or line). In this case, the customer will receive a detailed invoice by mail. If the invoice is not promptly paid,  the deposit will be used as payment, and the account will be terminated. Cash deposits may be sent by Bank Wire Transfer or as an International Money Order. See below for Bank Wire Transfer instructions.

THE CUSTOMERS NAME ADDRESS MUST APPEAR ON ALL PAYMENTS!

A Letter of Credit (LC) may also be used to secure payment. A Letter of Credit is between the
customer and his bank. The customers bank will generally provide the LC on their letterhead and using
the banks forms. Due to the cost and effort involved in obtaining an LC, it is generally used only with
accounts billing $2000 per month or greater. Please contact AmeriCom if you have a customer who
wants to secure his account with an LC.
